This envelope is in used but nice condition. It is addressed to the president of Rail Road in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am wondering if it was the Cincinnati Railroad that was in operation at that time. I can't identify the name whom it is addressed to. The second picture is the name and address of the person who sent the letter. It came from Dayton and is dated May 31, 1852. Notice the wax seal that was used to seal the letter. There was probably a note of some sort inserted in the folded-up envelope. It is not there now. The postage stamp is the original stamp used to mail this letter. Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
