The Convention entered into on 20th October 1860 by the French Government, with the Compagnie Generale Maritime, for two lines of Transatlantic Postal Service from France to the United States, and to the West Indies. An article from the Journal du Havre of 10th January 1862, giving a statement of progress of the above undertaking.
