This envelope is in ok condition. There is no damage to it although it shows a small amount of soilage from age and storage. It is a sealed envelope and there is nothing inside. He was Secretary Of State in Ohio from 1869-1869. It is postmarked Urbana Ohio and has no return address on it. This envelope is from 1868 or 1869 and the postage stamp fits the date.
