This envelope is in ok condition although it shows some use as can be expected for an envelope this old. The postmark is dated 1884 and the postage stamp is original. It is addressed to what looks like Mrs. F. S. Morey. It is addressed to Rapids Portage Co. which is now Hiram Rapids. The Ohio you see written in the lower right corner was written in pencil later. The writing you see on the top center of the envelope says "Answered May 20" and that was written by the person it was sent to. That is what they used to do many years ago.
