The Texas Seal cover is light purple and black. The 3 cent Texas Statehood stamp was issued and cancelled in Austin, Texas, Dec. 29, 1945. The cover is mounted on a double matted board which has some slight water damage and warping on the back, that shows a little on the front. The cover, however, is not affected. Please note a “penciled†address on the front has been erased. I am not an expert with this collectible so please study pics and email with any questions or comments. Thanks for looking.
