AcmeStamps "Confederate" States Scott #1 (facsimile sheet) This is a nice pane of 25 facsimile reproductions of Confederate States of America's Scott #1, a 5c Jefferson Davis. The reverse side of all stamps reads in a very light whiteish impression "Facsimile No. 203." This is a nice reproduction piece of philatelic and American Civil War history. There are some faults, including a serious tear in the lower selvage reaching through to the mid-section of the bottom second from the left stamp. In addition, there are two or three less invasive horizontal tears along the right margin, and a hole in the far upper right selvage margin corner. All things aside, this is a nice, if not scarce as a whole mini-sheet! Please see the scan: What you see is what you get!! Classic stamps, which simply speak for themselves -- BID early; BID to WIN.
