I started designing United States Issue First Day Covers in 2001 with a little twist on the design of the covers. There is no real style...just what talks to my heart when I see an issue or a cancellation. It is my hope that I can introduce more people to the wonderful world of philately. [Covers measure approximately 6.5" x 3.75" and postal cards 4.5"x 5.5" unless otherwise noted.] OUR PICTORIAL CANCELLATIONS ARE DIFFERENT THAN MOST. We design the cachet, choose an appropriate US issue and, then, send the cover out for its cancellation. Our covers bring ALL THREE elements together on ONE cover....each element is carefully choosen to enhance the cover and your collection. AND, because of the nature of these covers their 'handmade-ness' also applies to the application of the cancellation ... these are prone to occasional smudging and uneven inking. [We have provided a sample of the cancellation at its very best.] AND, as hard as we try to provide USPS postmasters with the appropriate manner in which to cancel these covers, occasionally a cover cannot be folded without losing a portion of the cancellation. THIS COVER IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE Our FDCs editions are limited to 50-100 per design.
