Shown in the sheetlet are 8 different species with their scientific names given. The souvenir sheet focuses on the giant flower, Rafflesia manillana , named after the city of Manila, and which can have a diameter of 15-20 cms. The SS shows stages in the development of the flower; its size can be appreciated at the right end of the sheet which shows a sitting woman holding the flower. It is considered probably as the world's largest. It has attracted many tourists at the newly-established Sibalom Natural Park (in Antique province) which has adopted the giant flower as its flagship attraction.
