To get many s/s, i always shipped to family/friends by express, even for a birthday card! And give a lot of s/s to my sister-in-law for when shipping to my brother in B.C. he then return the stamps to me. And most of the shipping is covered with plastic after been cancelled, so the stamps arrive intact at destination. But since this take too much time for me to soak, i now mainly use some hard-to-find stamps, most being from ex-souvenir sheets.As for soaking, to make sure of top quality, i use a stamp drying book for large stamps, souvenir sheet, strip or blocks. You will also find many with CDS cancellation (Circuclar Dated Stamp cancellation) on some of those lots or mainly with a light cancellation, great looking in your album !!. But now i had started to list different quality of cancellations, those singles or sets are in great condition, only cancellations varies, normally from light to medium cancellation, so prices varies depending on cancellation, you will pay less for heavier cancellations. The price for most of the sets or singles are at 40-60% off the catalogue value. When i list some set, i look on ebay store to see for how much they are selling and on most cases, my price is the best. Naturally i saw some at a lower price, but when adding S&H fees, the prices is more than mine, it is easy to sell a set at 1c, but charging $3.00 for shipping !! It is a good think to always check the price of S&H. On ebay when i check some prices and select "price+shipping: lowest first", you will often see "temiscouata" on top. And for shipping i always use MNH hard-to-find stamps, such as stamps from a souvenir sheet or a full souvenir sheet when purchasing 5 lots or more (or over $2.50). It would be easy for me to charge only $1.00 if i was using only common "uncancelled" stamps(got a lot), like most dealer do (but most charging more than $1.00), but i rather stop selling than do this. Regarding souvenir sheet used for shipping, see below for more information.So please take this in consideration for the DSR rating, some buyers do not seem to appreciate the use of a hard-to-find MNH stamps and the time spend doing my shipping "first class", i even put a piece of paper on one end of small tape(s) used inside the enveloppe for easier removal. I made purchases in the past and it is very frustrating removing tapes sometime, so since i try to do my best to not doing to others thinks that i do not like to be done to myself. As for the shipping time, it is ship within 48 hours(business day) after payment is received(usually next day if payment is made before 8pm), this can easily be check by looking at the date cancelled on the enveloppe. So if deliveries take long, it is not from me but the postal services.Note that i am not going after feedbacks or DSR rating, some people do not like leaving feedbacks, and i respect there decision.
